The results of the 2026 Walter Corradin Memorial

The 7th Walter Corradin Memorial was held in Villaverla (VI) on April 19th. This UCI-sanctioned competition hosted around eighty athletes from Switzerland, Japan, Korea, France, Ukraine, Brazil, and, of course, Italy.

Performance Highlights

  • MH3 Category: Our very own Martino Pini secured a dominant victory, averaging over 38 km/h. After an initial lead, he strategically allowed opponents to pass to test their “engine capacity” before reclaiming the front and finishing solo after 13 laps.

  • MH4 Category: Damiano Marini took home the silver medal following a remarkably consistent race.

  • MH5 Category: Michele Tassi unfortunately misjudged a line in a corner and overturned. Thankfully, it was nothing serious—just a few scrapes.

  • MC2 Category: A fantastic one-two finish for Eduard Moescu and Fabio Coratella, who maintained an average speed of nearly 37 km/h.

Event Summary

Overall, it was a day of great satisfaction for the Team as they continue to build toward peak form. Special praise goes to the organizers—Zelica Corradin above all—for the excellent management and the extensive traffic control measures. It was a mild day, with the weather holding out over the racecourse despite showers in the surrounding areas.

Upcoming Events

The team’s next appointments will be the World Cup in Montesilvano (Pescara) and the European Championships in Maniago.
